My name is Geetha Poovendran, and I’m the CEO and practice manager here at PRO Institute. When we created PRO Institute, Dr. Poovendran had one main goal: to bring cutting-edge regenerative medicine to patients with complete transparency and a deep commitment to education. My goal was equally important: build a practice that runs with precision, respect, and genuine care. To me, there’s nothing more dismissive than making a patient wait without explanation. Your time matters.

Because of that, if there’s ever a chance we may be running behind, maybe a procedure needed a few extra careful minutes or a diagnostic ultrasound revealed something that required more explanation, we call you ahead of time. Delays don’t happen often, but when they do, we communicate. That’s part of the respect we believe every patient deserves.

Concierge Care, Not High-Volume Medicine

PRO Institute is a concierge medical practice. That means we prioritize depth of care, not volume of patients. A new patient appointment typically lasts 45 minutes to an hour, and about 75% of that time is spent directly with Dr. Poovendran.

Your visit begins with a detailed intake with our patient care coordinator. From there, Dr. Poovendran performs a comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound which is a cornerstone of our approach. This isn’t a quick glance at a joint. It’s a meticulous, real-time assessment designed to pinpoint the true source of your injury or issue. Throughout that process, you’re encouraged to ask every question you have. No one is rushed. No one is shuffled out the door. Our standard is simple: you leave your appointment only when you feel fully informed.

And if you think of a question in the car afterward? Call us. You will never wait hours or days for an answer.

You Are More Than a Chart

One of the biggest compliments we receive is patients feeling that we truly care about them. At PRO Institute, you are not just a last name and date of birth. We know our patients.
