Prioritizing Responsibility in 2026 with Quick Response Firearms

New year, new me?

Come on, we have all been there. Making those New Year’s goals and frantically trying to hold ourselves accountable to them. Often, we make expectations that are so unreasonable that you’d think we have designed them to fail… To be honest, if we must wait for the new year to make a change, it is likely not that high of a priority already. So let’s change that! Let’s set a goal that is practical, achievable, and fun!

For this New Year, let’s set a goal to be responsible gun owners. This requires the right equipment and training to go along with it, and I’m happy to tell you that here at Quick Response Firearms, we can assist you from start to finish on this new adventure. Whether you are looking for a new pistol, rifle, shotgun, gear, ammo, accessories, or training, we have you covered. Training can be a loaded word, so what do we offer that fits you? We offer a large variety of classes, and we’ll go through some options here, so let’s get into it!

Idaho Enhanced Concealed Weapons License

Possibly the most popular class is the conceal carry class. This class will provide you with a certificate to get your Idaho Enhanced Concealed Carry Permit. Isn’t Idaho a constitutional carry state? So, why would I need this? Great question! Idaho is indeed a constitutional carry state, meaning no permit is needed to conceal carry or open carry. This permit does, however, qualify you to carry in 39 states total! It also allows you to streamline your firearms purchases since you are getting background cleared for the permit. This doesn’t just streamline your process; it also helps keep your information secure when purchasing a firearm. Arguably, the most beneficial part of this permit is the education. We will teach you the ins and outs and help you to understand the legalities of carrying a firearm for protection. This class is taught by one of our professional instructors who spends his days keeping this great community safe as a deputy here in Twin Falls. He knows this class well and makes sure each student gets the information he or she needs before class is over!

Pistol 1 and Rifle 1 (Basic)

These courses go through the fundamentals of firearm safety and handling. You will learn everything from what types of firearms there are, how they operate, how to keep yourself and others safe with them, and how to use them effectively. What really sets our class apart is the ability of our instructors to teach new gun owners and advanced gun owners kindly and professionally and how we teach practical use of firearms so you understand the tactics that will keep you and your loved ones safe.

Pistol and Rifle 2 (Intermediate)

Our intermediate class teaches you the skills needed to survive in a situation where you may need to use your firearm. God willing, we hope this never happens, but these skills are important to be a protector of our loved ones and to be a responsible gun owner. This class will take the basic fundamentals learned in Pistol and/or Rifle 1 and expand them to real world situations.

Pistol Red Dot Training

They’re new, they’re true, and they’re made for you! Red dot optics are a great addition to any firearm. They are now used widely in law enforcement, military, security, shooting sports, and conceal carry pistols. These optics, when trained on, will heavily increase accuracy, consistency, and time. They are a great addition, but they require training to know how to use them correctly, efficiently, and to know what to do in different situations.

Specialty and Advanced Classes

Many classes are being added here at QRF to include advanced variations for pistol and rifle, home defense, countering/protecting against mass shootings, Medical (stop the bleed), kids/teens safety and fundamentals, women’s only classes (for those looking to get a girl’s day out!), private classes for friends/family, and many more being added.

Training is a vital part of being a gun owner. We ask you: please do not be one of those people who buys a gun and does not seek training. It is vital that you get training and stay trained. I (Daniel) have been through various training courses from military, law enforcement, civilian, and instructor courses. Here is what I can say: I have never been disappointed in furthering my education, I have always found new skills that I add to my toolbox that can absolutely become useful in different situations, and I have found that times change, skills change, and equipment changes, so we need to be ok with change and maintenance of our skills.

Whether you are looking to start out and have no training or if you are an enthusiast with years of training, you will find our instructors to be experts, professional, and capable. We love to train, and we encourage you to learn more and continue education.
