Brian earned his Master of Accountancy in Tax from Brigham Young University in 1992. Rather than follow a traditional accounting path, he chose to build something of his own. In 2001, he founded and became the owner of a public accounting firm in Utah County, where he has since dedicated his career to serving entrepreneurs. That decision wasn’t accidental—it was personal. He draws a parallel from his own life outside the office. As a recreational cyclist, Brian was accepted to ride the 2023 LoToJa, a grueling 207-mile ride from Logan, Utah to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with more than 8,500 feet of climbing—the longest one-day road cycling event in the United States. Although he had ridden 100 miles before, he knew this challenge required guidance. So, he hired a coach.
“That experience reinforced what I see with entrepreneurs,” Brian says. “When you set big goals, you need someone who’s been there—or at least knows how to get you there.”
