February Is Children’s Dental Health Month

February may be the shortest month of the year, but it packs an important reminder for families everywhere: it’s Children’s Dental Health Month. This annual observance shines a spotlight on the habits that help kids build healthy smiles for life—and it’s never too early (or too late) to start.

Good oral health in childhood does far more than prevent cavities. Healthy teeth support proper speech development, confident smiles, and comfortable eating. When dental care becomes part of a child’s routine early on, it sets the foundation for lifelong wellness.

So what does good dental care look like for kids?
