A Neighborhood Showcase
This house in Gaithersburg was built in 1993. The windows were leaking and rotting. The original Masonite siding was deteriorating in many locations. The owner knew it was time to transform their exterior.
After pricing multiple options, they decided Hardie siding, Pella windows, and Provia doors were the right materials. The owner researched many different exterior products—Hardie siding was the best option to restore the wood look and meet HOA requirements. Hardie house wrap was installed to create a thermal barrier, and then Hardie plank cedarmill siding was installed. The color of this home is Evening Blue.
Hardie products are an excellent way to create the look of wood without the maintenance. The front entry column detail and crown header were replaced with Hardie trim, and a Provia Heritage Series front entry door was installed. Pella Lifestyle windows with black exterior defines the home with an added contrast.
This customer now has a beautiful, low maintenance exterior. Custom Concepts Construction, Inc. is an Elite Preferred Siding Contractor for James Hardie Products.
