PAWS INN Training: Where Humans and Dogs Learn Together

At PAWS INN Training, our classes are about more than just teaching dogs to sit or stay — they’re about helping pet parents and dogs learn how to work together.

With over 30 years of dog training experience, I’ve had the joy of working with thousands of dogs and their people. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching the transformation happen in class. Families often walk in feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or unsure — and by the end, they’re smiling, confident, and truly understanding their dog.

Training the Humans (and the dogs follow!)

While we absolutely work on skills with the dogs, the real magic happens when owners learn what to look for, how to respond, what to reward, and how to set clear, fair standards. One of our biggest goals is helping owners learn how to become the most important, rewarding part of their dog’s world.

A New Space for Learning

We’re excited to now offer classes in our new, larger training space at 201 West 1st Street, giving us more room to work, move, and practice real-life situations. Our classes are intentionally kept small, allowing us to support each dog and handler team individually — especially puppies who are just starting out.

Training for Every Stage of Life

Our training programs are designed to grow with you and your dog:

PUPPY & LEVEL 1 – Foundations, focus, manners, and confidence

LEVEL 2 – Strengthening skills with distractions and real-world challenges

LEVEL 3 – Real-life training for dogs ready to take their skills into everyday environments

NOSE WORK Classes – A fun, enriching outlet that taps into your dog’s natural abilities

Even if your dog is 4, 5, or 6 years old, it’s never “too late” for training. Refresher classes like Level 3 are a great way to reconnect, rebuild focus, and get back into activities together.

At the heart of PAWS INN Training is that Dogs don’t have to be perfect. What matters most is time spent together — staying active, learning in different environments, and building a relationship that grows stronger over time. The more you do with your dog, the better they become — not just in class, but in life.
