In a world of constant headlines, nonstop screen time, and mounting demands on our attention and nervous systems, we are saturated with information — and still, many of us feel more isolated than ever.
Golden Wellness Community Center is being created in response to that reality.
We believe wellness happens in spaces where we gather. We thrive when there is a “third space”: a place to move, learn, create, heal, and grow together.
Located on the first level of the education building at First United Church of Christ in downtown Golden, the center is building that space for our community.
Our programming is rooted in four pillars: Movement, Education, Counseling, and Art.
Movement includes yoga, breathwork, dance, somatic practices, and other embodied traditions. Education brings classes and workshops on entrepreneurship, astrology, financial literacy, relationship skills, wisdom traditions, and navigating life transitions. Counseling centers around group therapy, grief groups, psychoeducational workshops, and individual counseling. Art programming will feature open studio hours, hands-on workshops, youth programming, and collaborations with local artists.
The center includes multiple dedicated rooms and shared gathering spaces, allowing for simultaneous classes, groups, and creative work. Our goal is to maintain accessible rental rates that empower facilitators while keeping programming within reach for the Golden community.
Our goal is not only to host events and classes, but to incubate leaders.
We are currently building our Spring/Summer calendar and are seeking yoga teachers, therapists, artists, movement facilitators, educators, wellness practitioners, and experts of all kinds who feel called to share their craft. If you have a practice, a curriculum, or a body of wisdom that supports wellness, we invite you to connect.
