Different in personality and stature are Bruno and Bear. Bruno is longer than he is tall, and Bear is more ears than anything. The two brothers love their vacations at Coombs Kennels.
Katy and James Easton are the proud pet parents of the two. Bruno is the boss, and Bear accepts this. At 13 years old, Bruno has more pep in his step since gaining a brother. And keeping Bruno young and spry is Bear, who takes his role as little/bigger brother very seriously.

Bruno is Katy’s constant shadow. At night, both dogs sleep with their heads resting on the same pillow. Bear will be at James’ side, waiting for the first sight of motion; once eye contact is made, it’s time to wake up! Having flunked out of seeing-eye dog school, Bear comes all the way from Arkansas. It was a three-day car ride, just him and James. The two became bonded for life.

Bear loves his people, but there is one person he may love above all: the Eastons’ 5-year-old granddaughter. Standing as tall as Bear when he’s sitting, she is the boss, although she does call him “Mr. Bear.” She dresses him up in all of the latest fashion while he sits patiently, loving the attention from his small human.
The love from our short conversation is felt deeply, as well as the pride that Katy and James have for Bruno and Bear. Dog lovers and dog people are two different things in my mind, but this couple is both. They know what each dog needs, seeking and providing, showing their unwavering love when looking into the eyes of their most beloved.
