The kind of results people notice come from consistent care.
Over dinner this fall, two longtime friends sat across from each other, and one couldn’t stop looking at the other’s face. Her skin looked firm, hydrated, and rested. Finally, she asked what so many of us have wondered: “Did you get work done?”
The answer surprised her. Her friend, a Mismo member, had simply been coming to see me once a month for three years. Consistent, hands-on care, month after month.
Not long after, she was in my studio for her Mismo First Touch.
She described herself as a simple girl: mid-sixties, swims every day, wears vitamin C and sunscreen, and invests in a luxury moisturizer she loves. It’s a good routine. But she couldn’t remember the last time anyone had actually treated her skin, and she had been quietly wanting it to feel firmer and more hydrated.
Many people I serve are just like her. They aren’t neglecting themselves. They’re already caring, already spending, already doing so much right. What’s missing usually isn’t another product. It’s hands-on care and time to recalibrate, something no fancy jar of face cream can provide.
Skin is ever evolving. It changes with the seasons, stress, sleep, sun, and time. Good products can support, nourish, and soothe it, and they matter. But nothing replaces someone actually working with your skin: releasing facial tension, exfoliating appropriately, and infusing it with what it needs now, not what it needed last year, while supporting the body, too.
That integrated care is what her friend has been receiving for years. Her results didn’t come from one appointment. They came from rhythm. Consistency compounds, while one-off treatments tend to start over every time. After her first session, my new client saw her before-and-after images and texted me: “Wow, what a difference!” She’s already booked for the months ahead.
Which brings me to this time of year.
November is when so many of us put ourselves on hold. The calendar fills with holiday travel, gatherings, late nights, and long to-do lists. The air turns dry. Stress settles in. And we promise ourselves we’ll start taking better care in January.
But your skin doesn’t wait for the new year, and you don’t have to either.
Supporting your skin and body now, through the fullest weeks of the year, means arriving in January refreshed and recalibrated, not trying to recover from two months of putting yourself last.
Good care doesn’t have to replace anything you already love: your moisturizer, your movement practice, your dermatologist, your injector. It supports all of it.
Think of me as your skin and body person, the one who brings your care together and makes it feel like yours.
Not sure where to begin?
You don’t have to know what to book.
That’s my job.
