Happy New Year From Park City Wine Club: Look What’s New in Our Wine Community This Year!

You know her – She’s the “Wine Lady,” that’s what most people refer to her as.

Pamela Wood is all about wine: wine education, food, wine & tasting events, wine history, server training, wine & culinary tours, cellar management, wine judge, and now she’s bringing more of it to Utah.

Her credentials are many: Certified Wine Educator, Certified Sommelier, Hospitality Beverage Specialist, American Wine Expert and National Certified Wine Judge. Pamela is a Professor of Wine, Director of Education for Culinary Wine Institute, Educator to the State DABS employees and Owner Founder of Park City Wine Club, since 2012 . . .

She now offers services across the whole state of Utah with primary focus on creating a fun and educated wine community in Wasatch and Summit Counties; Heber, Midway, Coalville, Kamas, and Park City. Pam is branching out into the Greater Salt Lake area, including Murray, Sandy and beyond, even getting down to Cedar City and St. George on occasion.

With expanded services throughout Utah and venturing into some neighboring states, a new brand to capture the essence of all things wine was in order. In addition to Park City Wine Club, the foundation that started it all, please welcome Somm-Services to the mix.

Somm-Services is everything wine for both public and private events. Offering tastings, wine dinners, private parties and functions, wine education for individuals, wine education for restaurants and their staff, consultation and cellar management of your personal cellar, wine travel tours, and more. You’ll see more in 2026 as Somm-Services slowly rolls out new offerings.

What’s happening to Park City Wine Club? Nothing, except maybe improving some of our member experiences in 2026. Park City Wine Club is a social members’ organization that captures wine in the mountains with various events, tastings, winemaker dinners, and wine tours throughout the year and gives back to local non-profits from its membership and event proceeds. Park City Wine Club members will now have the added benefit of receiving a member discount and access to events that are under Somm-Services. You may notice a change when you receive email correspondence; the email for Park City Wine Club will change from Gmail to a Somm-Services suffix.

Stay tuned, more wine-ing to come!

Happy New Year, get out there and enjoy!
