Providence Benefit Solutions Aligns With CUP (Coffee Uniting People)
It is always great to catch someone doing something right! Ron Moore, owner of Providence Benefit Solutions, recently approached me at the CUP fundraiser with an innovative idea. When local business owners get a comparative quote on benefits for their company from Ron and find it favorable, Ron and his team will donate half of the account profits back to our local CUP non-profit.
Let me back up, CUP stands for Coffee Uniting People, and it was founded back in October 2021 by Greg Jones, opened its first coffee house in March 2023 in downtown Tampa and followed up with a South Dale Mabry location in August 2023. Recently, CUP has found a niche in hospital locations and has opened a few quickly, including their sixth overall location coming this summer. Future CUP plans include additional expansion and growth outside Tampa and an on-line coffee monthly subscription. The amazing part about CUP is giving opportunity to less fortunate young adults and giving me opportunity, self-worth and empowerment. I regularly hold my meetings at the South Tampa location. Nick, Marlene, Daniel & Team, with their big smiles, brighten my day every time I see them and introduce folks to CUP.
Ron’s son, Daniel, is a big part of the South Tampa location team and this is where the idea was born.
