Ductech Heating & Cooling was founded by Patrick Hammarsten, who grew up in the South St. Paul area and began his career in the HVAC industry in January of 2000. From the start, Pat knew he wanted to be his own boss and build a company rooted in quality, honesty, and personal service.
Before starting Ductech, Pat was a proud member of the Local Sheet Metal Union, where he developed the skills, work ethic, and industry knowledge that continue to shape the company today. In 2013, he officially launched Ductech Heating & Cooling.
What truly sets Ductech apart is Pat’s hands-on approach. When Pat sells a job, he sees it through from start to finish—working directly with the owner every step of the way. There are no handoffs, no runarounds—just clear communication, accountability, and a commitment to delivering the best possible service that we are proud of.
