D’Amato Law Firm Expands Practice to Include Workers’ Compensation

The D’Amato Law Firm, a well-respected and highly coveted South Jersey personal injury law firm, has assumed the injury practice of Hyberg, White & Mann with the addition of its Workers’ Compensation attorney, Daniel R. White, Esq. Dan brings a prominent Workers’ Compensation practice to the D’Amato Law Firm, expanding the firm’s ability to better support its clients, working families and the community as a whole.

Prior to joining the D’Amato Law Firm, Dan was the Managing Partner of Hyberg, White & Mann, where he worked alongside his father, Joseph B. White, Esq., since becoming a licensed attorney in 2014. Upon Joe’s retirement at the end of 2025, it was a natural transition for Dan to join the ranks of the D’Amato attorneys with whom both Joe and Dan had collaborated on countless cases.

Workers’ Compensation law is a distinct and highly specialized area of practice designed to provide injured employees with timely benefits following a workplace accident. Available benefits include:

(1) free medical treatment to cure or alleviate conditions related to the work accident,

(2) temporary disability benefits to replace lost wages while an injured worker is under active treatment
and unable to perform their job, and finally,

(3) permanent disability (partial or total) if the accident results in any permanent loss of function.

“Workers’ Compensation cases are often disputed by the insurance companies defending them, resulting in the injured worker not receiving the benefits they deserve,” Dan said. “In many cases, especially for first-time claimants, injured workers have no idea what they are entitled to. We take an aggressive approach from the outset of a claim, setting the standard of what we expect from the insurance companies for our clients.”

Dan and his team have a profound knowledge of the Workers’ Compensation system, which has garnered respect from his adversaries, the insurance industry, and the Judiciary. His ability to efficiently and effectively advocate for his clients has enabled him to produce excellent results and obtain the compensation his clients deserve.

Existing firm clients and those transitioning to the D’Amato Law Firm can expect continuity and stability throughout their claims. Cases will continue without interruption, and familiar attorneys and staff will remain involved. The firm will now operate with an expanded team, additional resources, and a broader legal perspective, all aimed at delivering efficient and effective representation.

Beyond the courtroom, the D’Amato Law Firm reiterates its commitment to community involvement with longstanding support of local organizations, charities, and civic initiatives. The newly combined practice plans to continue—and expand—those efforts as it grows.

For the local community, the addition of a Workers’ Compensation practice means greater access to comprehensive legal services close to home. Whether someone has been injured in an accident or hurt on the job, they can turn to the D’Amato Law Firm for trusted guidance, advocacy, and support.
