Indoor Air Quality: Fresh Air for the New Year

Most of us think about air quality outdoors. Is there a lot of smog in the air? What is the pollen count? Do I smell a strange odor outside my door? You have little control over the outdoor air quality, but you do have control over your indoor air quality — in your home, your business, and even your vehicle.

Indoor air quality is affected by three factors:

1. Things in The Air You CAN See

A ray of sunlight shines through the window and you see “floaters” in the form of dust particles, pet dander, pet hair, and the fluff from a birdcage. You see cast-off particulates from the hamster using the exercise wheel, the rabbit hopping about, and the cat scratching the litter box.

2. Things in The Air You CANNOT See

These include germs, bacteria, and viruses within airborne water droplets which will eventually land on surfaces like countertops, handles, chairs, and even you cell phone.

3. Lingering Odors

These are the annoying smells left behind by pets, people, cigarette smoke, cooking, as well as those from mildew in poorly ventilated areas like attics and basements.

Clean Air is Easier Than You Think

My air purifiers cleanse the air of irritants through ionization. They create negatively charged ions which attach to airborne particles — giving them a negative charge which causes them to clump together and become heavy enough to fall out of the air onto surfaces, effectively removing them from your breathing space without the need of a fan or filter. This process has a 99.9% kill rate for airborne germs, bacteria, and viruses because ionization disrupts their cell walls — rendering them inert and unable to infect or reproduce. In addition to ionization, I offer devices that can eliminate these toxins on surfaces using UV light. Simply plug one of my air purifiers into a standard outlet or USB port and let it do its job. You will have clean, fresh-smelling, sanitized, and healthy air continuously 24/7 — anytime, anywhere, at home or on the go!

We spend nearly 90% of our time indoors. I would much rather have my air purifier cleansing my air than depending on my lungs to be the filter. Which would you prefer?
