Kids These Days: Rising Rams Program Expands to Youngest Future Learners
Dear Ramsey Community Members,
I am thrilled to announce a significant and exciting expansion of Ramsey School District’s commitment to every child’s success, well before they step into a classroom.
Our dedicated Rising Rams program, which has already provided invaluable support and connection for our current Preschool and Kindergarten students, is now extending its reach to include the parents of our 0 to 4-year-old population!
This expansion is born out of our deep dedication to building a strong, supportive school community from the very beginning. We know that the foundational years are crucial, and we believe that connecting with our future Rams—and their families—early on is a best practice that will set every child up for long-term success in school and life.
To launch this exciting new chapter, we hosted a special kick-off event in January. This event provided the opportunity for parents of 0–4 year olds to meet the dedicated staff who champion the Rising Rams program. They were eager to introduce themselves, answer questions, and provide a sneak peek into the fantastic resources we have planned.

Parental Support Webinars
As part of the kickoff, Ramsey staff offers four focused webinars in multiple languages. These sessions are specifically designed to provide practical, evidence-based support and best practices for nurturing your child’s development. Topics for this foundational parent support series will include:
- Building Independence in Your Child
- Supporting Self-Regulation
- Speech and Language Development
- Multilingual Learner Development
- Physical Development (Fine and Gross Motor)
- Best Practices for Setting Your Child Up for Success in School

The greatest resource students have is a strong partnership between home and school. This expansion of the Rising Rams program allows everyone to connect with their school village before their child begins their formal education.
