Where in the World Is Dr. Welter? Reaching the World’s Regenerative Experts

If you have ever wondered why patients travel from far beyond New England – sometimes from across the globe – to have procedures done with our team, the answer begins with my passport. Every few weeks, I am on a plane to Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, or the Middle East, invited to teach regenerative medicine, hair restoration, cosmetic surgery, and the fast-moving science behind cellular therapies. I am fortunate to be one of the rare American physicians who is not simply just practicing modern regenerative medicine but also helping define it for surgeons worldwide.

It is impossible to stand still in this field. As I teach physicians from around the world, my endeavors bring them the most current, accurate, and clinically useful knowledge available. That obligation keeps me constantly learning, refining, and demonstrating techniques at major international congresses.

Some of my signature techniques are microFUE™ along with the use of PRP and peptides to aid in healing the donor area. This has forever changed the landscape for hair restoration and doctors world-wide are taking interest in regenerative medicine. Witnessing certain others’ less than optimal hair surgeries in America and abroad (including patients treated in Turkey, a common hair transplant destination), I felt compelled to take action.

I realized some patients (arriving for corrective repair after treatments elsewhere) not only had incomplete regrowth but had been left with the (back of the head) donor area over-harvested. My answer was to develop a technique that helps restore the donor area. Our microFUE™ proprietary micro punch along with stem cell therapies and peptides aids in the best healing results. It is important to do this to properly heal the area and for future extractions, if another transplant is needed. I employ regenerative healing in all of my cosmetic surgical procedures, turning back the clock on the cellular level as well as the surgical.

The ripple effects of my international teaching are visible in my everyday clinic life: New England Hair Restoration, Regeneris Cosmetics, Regeneris Elite Men’s Health, Regeneris Medical and Regeneris MedSpa. At one recent training session, physicians from Greece and California both flew to Boston specifically to observe the use of a new device. They chose this midpoint because I essentially had the most hands-on experience across a broad array of laser, cosmetic, and transplant devices. That level of familiarity comes only from years of pushing forward: regenerative cell-based therapies, advanced microFUE™ methods, minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, and innovations in anti-aging medicine.

Traveling thousands of miles each year is demanding, yet I view it as an extension of my responsibility to patients at home. When presenting the latest knowledge, my patients will be guaranteed a physician who has stayed ahead of the curve. That commitment has built something unusual for a suburban practice: a truly international reputation. Patients arrive from all over seeking natural results, continuity of care, and a physician who not only performs these procedures but also teaches them to the world’s experts.

For Westwood and the surrounding communities, it means something remarkable. I remain one of the most traveled and tireless educators in regenerative medicine. My practices are right here, in Westwood – bringing the world’s learning back here to you all.
