THE DIAMOND
Choosing the diamond and shape is one of the most important decisions in the ring-shopping process. The star of the show, it is the first thing everyone notices. This is where our expertise comes in the most. Our job is to help you choose a shape and size that complements not only their hand but their lifestyle. We carry one of the largest in-house selections of both natural and lab-grown diamonds in nearly every shape and carat weight, so you can compare them side by side. Some couples choose the diamond together and leave the final size or setting as the surprise element.
THE DESIGN
Next comes the fun part: the design! Our state-of-the-art customizable design process allows us to blend design esthetics from different samples into one perfect piece through a computerized drawing system from our designer lines. This technology allows us to bring your vision to life by adding more or taking away, making sure you get exactly what you want. A 3D video allows you to see the ring from every angle. Once you approve this drawing, we have a wax mold made of the ring in your exact finger size, so you can sign off on your dream ring before it goes into production. This leaves no room for error or disappointment!
Engagement-ring production is typically four to six weeks, allowing for delays due to holidays and shipping that could be out of our control. This includes manufacturing, setting diamonds, quality control, and shipping. Making a quality piece takes time, as no corner is ever cut. We tell clients to give themselves about two months from the time they start looking. Between the diamond picking, design, and manufacturing, the time adds up and can affect your planned proposal date.
