Your Backyard Vacation Destination

Travel can mean different things to many of us. For some, it represents a vacation we’ve been planning for months. For others, travel is a necessary part of our professional lives. In either case, home is the important other half of the story. Home can be the sanctuary we return to after a long stretch of business travel. It can also be the place where we find a few hours of downtime between activities and commitments during our non-vacation seasons of life.

Your backyard is part of your home and can absolutely be the getaway you need between trips. The term “staycation” became more popular during a time when travel was nearly impossible. Bringing that sense of escape home sparked the realization that having an outdoor space to relax and recharge with your family is invaluable. We could all use an easy, convenient way to enjoy the feeling of vacation in our own backyard.

A backyard vacation can look different for every home, family, or vision of relaxation. It might be a simple garden path with a quiet space to sit and read… a cozy firepit area to enjoy under the stars… a competitive space for games… or even a poolside retreat with all the amenities you usually seek when traveling.

No matter the scale, the backyard getaway is the easy answer to a busy life.
