The Future of Non-Surgical Facial Lifting Has Arrived

Back to Articles

At ReGen & Aesthetics Concierge of Texas, we are always searching for technologies that truly advance the field of regenerative aesthetics. This fall, we are excited to introduce XERF, one of the newest innovations in non-surgical facial lifting and skin tightening.

Recently cleared by the FDA for use in the United States, XERF has already gained tremendous momentum internationally, particularly in South Korea, where many aesthetic technologies originate. In fact, before it was available in the U.S., patients were traveling overseas to receive the treatment. The technology quickly built a reputation for delivering noticeable lifting results without surgery, needles, or downtime.

Interest in XERF has only grown after it was recently highlighted in NewBeauty magazine following Kim Kardashian’s experience with the treatment, bringing broader attention to this next generation of non-surgical tightening technology.

To understand why this device is generating so much excitement, it helps to think about the three structural layers of the face that change with age.

The first layer is the skin itself. Over time, collagen and elastin decline, which can lead to fine lines, pigmentation, and changes in texture. Treatments such as microneedling, Tixel, and other regenerative skin therapies help restore the quality and vitality of the skin.

The second layer is the subcutaneous tissue, where volume loss occurs. This is where biostimulatory injectables can gradually rebuild collagen and restore youthful contour by stimulating the body’s own regenerative processes.

But beneath these layers lies a third and incredibly important support system that has traditionally been difficult to treat without surgery.

This layer includes the SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System) and the fibrous septae, tiny connective fibers that anchor the skin to deeper structures and help maintain the lift and shape of the face.

As we age, this support framework gradually loosens. The fibrous septae stretch, the SMAS weakens, and gravity begins to pull tissues downward. The result can be softening of the jawline, jowling, and facial sagging.

XERF technology was designed to target this deeper structural layer.

Using advanced multi-frequency radiofrequency energy, the device delivers controlled heat to the tissues beneath the skin, tightening existing collagen and stimulating new collagen remodeling. This process helps restore tension within the facial support system and produces a natural lifting effect over time.

One way we explain this to patients is with a simple analogy.

Think of the SMAS and fibrous septae as the “Spanx of the face.” When those fibers are tight, everything sits higher and looks more lifted. Over time, just like a favorite pair of Spanx that has gone through the washing machine a few too many times, that support can loosen. XERF helps restore that internal structure.

Another reason patients love this treatment is its simplicity. XERF is pain-free and requires essentially zero downtime, allowing most patients to return to their normal activities immediately after their appointment.

For optimal lifting and collagen remodeling, we typically recommend two treatments spaced about one month apart, followed by one maintenance treatment each year

At ReGen & Aesthetics Concierge of Texas, our philosophy is to address aging from the inside out and the outside in, combining advanced skin treatments, collagen-stimulating therapies, and structural tightening technologies like XERF.

To celebrate the launch of this exciting technology, we are offering special introductory pricing for readers of The Good Life magazine. Simply mention The Good Life when contacting our clinic to learn more.

We are thrilled to bring this next generation of non-surgical facial rejuvenation to our community.
