Most of us assume our hair is healthy – until it isn’t. The truth is, damage often happens gradually and quietly, long before it becomes visible. Here’s how to really know what’s going on with your hair.

The signs of unhealthy hair that people ignore:

  • Excessive shedding or breakage
  • Dullness that doesn’t go away after washing
  • Hair that tangles easily or feels rough
  • Color that fades too fast or doesn’t take evenly
  • Split ends that keep coming back

What healthy hair actually looks like:

Truly healthy hair has shine, elasticity, and strength. It holds a style, takes color beautifully, and feels smooth — not just after a blowout, but on day two and three as well.

The biggest culprits:

  • Heat without protection
  • Skipping trims
  • Over-washing or under-conditioning
  • DIY color

The good news?

With the right cuts, treatments, and professional guidance, healthy hair is absolutely achievable. At Crimson Hair Studio, we assess your hair’s health at every visit because great style starts with a great foundation.
