Summer in the Flathead Valley has a way of bringing people outside again. Patios fill up, the lake gets busy, the sun sets later, and the days begin to revolve around gathering. Many meals shared outside, weekends hiking, local music playing, and all the small moments that make this season feel like a true Montana summer.

There’s something special about this time of year here. Visitors come to experience the beauty of the valley, but for those of us who call it home, it’s also a reminder of how lucky we are to live where we do. The slower mornings, the mountain views on everyday drives, the way community comes together all summer long.

At Forage and Floral, summer always feels especially inspiring. Flowers become part of dinner parties on the patio, weddings tucked into the mountains, weekends at the lake, and the simple act of bringing a little bit of the season indoors. Summer at the shop is often filled with wedding preparations, designing everyday bouquets, and occasional evenings with food trucks parked outside the shop, all the little things that make this season feel lively and connected. Summer is our favorite time to bring all of our creations to life!

This season is full of experiences people wait all year for, and we’re grateful to play even a small part in them. Whether someone is visiting the Flathead for the first time or simply enjoying another Montana summer at home, we hope this season feels full of happiness, a lot of laughter, and time spent outdoors.
