The “Post-Parade” Patio Reset

You come for the winter, but you stay for the summer. In Park City, July is the pinnacle of outdoor living. Between the 4th of July festivities and the height of the Sunday Silly Market, our homes become revolving doors for friends and family. To keep the second half of summer feeling as fresh as the first, NEAT Method Park City suggests shifting your focus to the Outdoor Oasis.

  • The Al Fresco Audit: After the holiday weekend, take ten minutes to assess your outdoor entertaining gear. Wipe down serving trays, check your stock of outdoor-safe glassware, and consolidate half-empty bags of charcoal or wood pellets into weather-tight bins.
  • The “Stay Cool” Station: With July sun in full swing, designate a shelf in the pantry or a drawer in the kitchen specifically for hydration. Group cooling towels, electrolyte packets, and insulated tumblers together so they are easy to grab before hitting the PCMR slides or the golf course.
  • Towel Rotation: If your pool or hot tub towels are starting to pile up, implement a “one-touch” system. Use a large, breathable wicker basket for clean towels and a designated hamper for wet ones to prevent the dreaded “mudroom mountain.”

Enjoy the sunshine and keep your summer systems simple!
