The emotional heartbeat and driving force behind The Lounge is co-owner Kellee Stritzel. Before opening the business, Kellee spent more than ten years working on the frontlines as an ER and trauma nurse. Standing beside patients and families during some of the most critical and vulnerable moments of their lives profoundly shaped her approach to care.
Those demanding years in emergency medicine taught Kellee resilience, profound empathy, and the vital importance of treating people holistically—both physically and emotionally.
Over time, a distinct vision began to grow in her heart. She started to imagine a different kind of space: a proactive sanctuary where people could gather not in a medical crisis, but to actively care for themselves. She envisioned a dedicated environment focused on wellness, confidence, and genuine human connection—a place where clients could slow down, feel deeply welcomed, and leave feeling like the absolute best version of themselves.
What began as a small dream slowly took shape through years of meticulous planning and pouring her heart into the project. With the support of her family who contributed their time, energy and belief, the dream became a reality when The Lounge at Healdsburg opened its doors, bringing a beautiful wellness space to the local community.
