When most people think of Highwood, they picture incredible restaurants, live music, and one of the North Shore’s most vibrant downtowns. This September, there’s another reason to visit.
From September 15–18, Highwood Design Week returns with four evenings dedicated to celebrating the creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation that shape the places where we live, work, and gather. Hosted by the Highwood Chamber of Commerce, the week invites homeowners, design enthusiasts, architects, and anyone looking for inspiration to experience Highwood through a different lens.
Rather than a traditional home show, Highwood Design Week is an immersive community experience. Guests are encouraged to stroll downtown, explore locally owned businesses, meet designers and artisans, enjoy unique demonstrations, and discover how thoughtful design influences everything from lighting and interiors to public art, antiques, flooring, and craftsmanship.
Each evening offers a completely different experience, making it easy to attend one event—or all four.

Each participating business opens its doors to share its own expertise, while visitors have the opportunity to discover new ideas, meet local professionals, and experience firsthand why Highwood continues to grow as a destination for design, art, shopping, and community.
Whether you’re planning a renovation, dreaming about a future home, searching for fresh inspiration, or simply looking for a memorable evening out, Highwood Design Week offers something for everyone.
