I have a very special place in my heart for this magazine for a couple of reasons. First, it represents my home state, Wisconsin, and every time I read it, it brings me back home in such a meaningful way. Second, when my husband and I first got together, I had just moved to Douglasville, GA, and I was feeling incredibly homesick. Over time, I started making a few connections in my new community and discovered that local magazines, newsletters, and social media blogs were a great way to stay informed and feel more connected to the area. When my good friend was featured in this magazine, I was eager to learn more and make sure I got a copy. I’m also part of a writer’s guild, and I’ve always had a passion for writing short pieces and reading thoughtful, well-crafted articles. I truly love what this magazine offers and sincerely appreciate your service.

I have been going through a deep depression these last couple of months and have been trying to figure out things to help guide me through. The November issue helped me start journaling and also think about volunteering. Those were both very simple things to help guide me. Thanks for putting out this magazine.
