HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR COMPANY’S APPROACH TO DESIGN, CRAFTSMANSHIP, AND VALUES?
Our approach to design is all about collaboration and personalization. We work closely with clients to create spaces that blend functionality, style, and their unique vision. Every project starts with understanding the client’s needs and inspirations and then crafting a design that feels tailored and timeless.

Our team is more like a family. We take a personable and friendly approach. Our experienced team handles all the fine details of each project; our installers turn each vision into reality.
WHAT DO YOU THINK MAKES A REMODEL TRULY SUCCESSFUL—BEYOND JUST BEAUTIFUL CABINETRY?
A truly successful remodel goes beyond aesthetics—it’s about functionality, flow, and how the space improves daily life. Beautiful cabinetry is important, but the real success comes from creating a design that fits the client’s lifestyle, maximizes storage, and makes the space feel comfortable and efficient.
WHAT SETS HUDSON VALLEY CABINET’S DESIGN OR CONSTRUCTION PROCESS APART FROM OTHERS IN THE AREA?
I believe what sets us apart is our personalities and passion. In the initial phase of the projects, our clients deal directly with Natacha and me. Both of us are aware of all our ongoing projects and can assist with any concerns. While our installation team can handle anything, they do so with the best attitude. We pride ourselves on the attention to detail we bring to each project!
WHAT MATERIALS OR DESIGN TRENDS ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT RIGHT NOW?
In my opinion, every project we work on is exciting! Materials might be similar, but designs are based on personal preferences and the overall style of the home. While trends cycle and shift over time, our goal is to create a timeless space that withstands the inevitable evolving trends.
WHAT DOES YOUR TYPICAL CLIENT RELATIONSHIP LOOK LIKE FROM FIRST MEETING TO FINAL INSTALL?
We like to focus on learning about our homeowners, their lifestyles, and preferences. In our opinion, constant contact throughout the process makes the experience enjoyable. Each project involves a different scope of work. We can provide design assistance or a full range of contractor services.
HOW DO YOU MAKE THE REMODELING PROCESS EASIER OR LESS STRESSFUL FOR HOMEOWNERS?
Our role in any project is to relieve homeowners of stress. Our team consistently communicates what to expect and when. We realize that this process disturbs their home life, so we aim to prepare the homeowner and plan work efficiently to minimize intrusion.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE CHALLENGES OR UNEXPECTED ISSUES THAT COME UP DURING A REMODEL?
We do so with communication and transparency, plain and simple. Things happen; everyone is human. If or when we have an issue, we transparently inform the client and provide solutions for any problems that arise.
WHAT’S THE MOST COMMON MISTAKE HOMEOWNERS MAKE WHEN PLANNING A KITCHEN OR BATH REMODEL?
Some common mistakes we see include insufficient storage space and poor functionality. I’ve heard that “designer” might be an intimidating word. However, a simple consultation, which may cost a few hundred dollars, is not much in the grand scheme of things and can truly change how your space functions relative to your lifestyle.
IF YOU COULD GIVE ONE PIECE OF ADVICE TO SOMEONE STARTING A REMODEL, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Plan carefully before starting, make a wish list, and gather inspiration pictures. Take time to consider what you want to introduce into your space, your priorities, and what your budget can realistically handle.
Choose a team you trust and can communicate openly with, who will help improve the space to better your lifestyle. Remodeling is a partnership, and the best results come when everyone is aligned on expectations, timelines, and goals.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT DESIGNING FOR HOMES IN THE HUDSON VALLEY?
Undoubtedly, the people. While working together, we get to know each other on such a personal level that many relationships have blossomed into strong friendships over the years.

The most satisfaction I get is working with my team. We work together, and everyone gives 110% every day. This filters down into our final product. We leave all our projects knowing the homeowner is happy with our work and the quality of our services.
