Wells Propane Legacy: A Family Tradition of Excellence Across Northeastern Nevada
Wells Propane was founded in 1956 by Daryl and Phyllis Eriksen and has been a staple of Northeastern Nevada for nearly 70 years and running. Starting with just three customers, the company was built on a foundation of trust, serving the towns of Wells, Elko, Jackpot, and later opening a new store in Spring Creek.
In 1990, the company transitioned to the second generation, with sons Mike, Jay, and Tom taking over ownership. Wells Propane is currently operating under the management of third generation Eriksons. Deveron and his wife Jennifer are currently managing Wells Propane and pushing their service area to Battle Mountain and Eureka, while continuing Wells Propane’s full-service approach for their valued customers. Today, Wells Propane proudly holds the oldest Class 1 Propane Dealers license in Nevada and has grown to serve over 4,000 customers.
