Taras and Wendy Denysenko, owners of Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Virginia Beach, proudly announce the opening of their second location in the Red Mill area this summer.
For years, their original studio has served as a place where adults of all ages come to try something new, meet people and gain confidence through dance. What begins as a simple lesson often turns into something much more — a sense of community, connection, and joy.
“We’ve always believed that dancing is about more than just steps,” said Wendy. “It’s about how you feel — more confident, more connected and more alive. Opening a second location allows us to bring that experience to even more people in our community.”
The new Red Mill studio will offer the same welcoming, beginner-friendly environment Arthur Murray is known for. No partner or experience is needed — just a willingness to try something new.
From social dancing and date nights to wedding first dances and personal goals, the studio works with each student individually while also offering group classes and social events that make learning fun and engaging.
As the studio prepares to open its doors, Wendy and Taras are especially excited to welcome both new faces and familiar ones from the Red Mill area.
“There’s something really special about seeing someone walk in unsure and leave smiling,” said Taras. “That transformation never gets old.”
The Red Mill location will open this summer, and the community is invited to be part of the beginning.
