It is June, and we have officially begun the Wedding Season! However, more and more weddings are planned throughout the year. We will alter your bride’s and bridesmaids’ dresses to fit as perfectly as they should on your most special day! After the big event, be sure to have your dress professionally cleaned and preserved by Barry’s. It is a must to preserve your dress for the future, whatever that may hold.
In addition, we suggest you have your lovely bridesmaids bring in their dresses to alter, perhaps shorten, etc., so they can get more use out of them. If you have the bridesmaid dress shortened, it can become a cocktail or sundress! This goes for those Prom dresses as well!
This year it seemed like a late Spring, so now we need to readdress our clothes, linens, and storage. Clean and store your winter clothes with Barry’s in CEDAR BAGS to prevent moth damage. They will be here until you need them again! We have found that most people do not realize that this is a service we perform for our clients!
In addition to cleaning and storing clothes for the seasons, we also do a great job on bed linens. We clean and press your bed linens. For those of you who have never had this service, imagine the most luxurious vacation you have ever had, staying in the most expensive hotel. That’s the feeling: slipping into freshly cleaned, pressed sheets is an attainable luxury we should all treat ourselves to. We recommend keeping your linens fresh by having them laundered once a week. We also do a lot of washing, drying, and folding. The summer months can be so busy; who wants to waste their free time on washing and folding?
Annie is also getting ready for some special occasions of her own… She has her beauty appointment every month to groom her fur coat and nails. She knows how important it is to take care of yourself and your clothing, so take a tip from our office kitty and get those clothes refreshed!
