For years, South Jersey eyewear lovers seeking truly elevated independent eyewear brands often felt they had to travel to Philadelphia, New York, or even Europe to experience the highest level of optical design. That is beginning to change.
This summer, Kresloff Eye Associates in Collingswood is introducing AHLEM — the Paris-born luxury eyewear collection celebrated internationally for its architectural design language, artisan craftsmanship, and understated sophistication.

Founded by Parisian designer Ahlem Manai-Platt, the brand has developed a devoted following among fashion insiders, architects, creatives, and discerning eyewear collectors who appreciate “quiet luxury” over flashy logos. Each frame is handcrafted in France using small-batch production methods and exceptional materials, with a design philosophy rooted in timelessness rather than trends.

AHLEM frames are handcrafted in France by specialized artisans using premium acetate and titanium materials, with the brand emphasizing sustainable production practices and enduring design. Many of the collection’s styles are inspired by Parisian architecture and Bauhaus principles — minimalist, refined, and intentionally designed to transcend seasonal fashion cycles.

To celebrate the launch, Kresloff Eye Associates will host an exclusive trunk show on August 13 from 2:00 PM–7:00 PM at their Collingswood location.
