A proud Texas A&M Aggie from a long line of Maroon and White, Payton returned to the Austin area after completing her dental hygiene training in Houston. After graduating from A&M in 2022, she chose a small dental hygiene program known for its state-of-the-art clinical facility and up-to-date curriculum. She still keeps in touch with many of her classmates and faculty today.
Kindness and empathy are at the heart of her chairside manner. Payton’s main goal is for every patient to leave the office feeling “seen, safe, and cared for.” Her gentle touch and quick smile have a way of making routine cleanings feel like simple catchups with a friend. She leverages modern technology like Guided Biofilm Therapy to provide a thorough yet exceptionally gentle experience for every person she treats.

Outside of work, Payton enjoys keeping life simple and happy. Her ideal Saturday starts with morning yoga followed by some time reading by the pool. She and her husband, Matt, were married at a historic Tuscan wine estate in Italy, a particularly meaningful choice after Payton studied architecture there in 2021.
These days, she’s happy to be back home in Lakeway, where she considers herself a certified morning person and rarely turns down a hot café latte or a local meal at Cafe Lago. She and Matt are also getting ready to welcome a Scottish Straight kitten this fall. And if she could invite anyone to dinner, Taylor Swift would be at the top of her list.
