I recently received a call from a gentleman who told me how much he loved reading the descriptions of properties on my website (www.robinshapirorealty.com). He had only one question – what does FDR stand for? (Hint: It’s not a dead president!). It gave me the idea for this article! Here’s a quick list of what some abbreviations stand for in my world:
FDR: Formal dining room
FLR: Formal living room
EIK: Eat-in kitchen
IGP: In-ground pool
WBFP: Wood burning fireplace
GBFP: Gas burning fireplace
B/Y: Backyard
PVT: Private, usually referring to private driveway
D/W: Dishwasher or driveway
CO: Certificate of Occupancy
CAC: Central air conditioning
MLS: Multiple Listing Service (not used in Rockaway)
