Consistency Is the Key to Lifelong Water Safety

Consistency is the key to success in everything you do in life. If you were going to go to the gym for 6 months every single day you would get in extremely good shape, you would get ripped, be fully prepared to run a 5K or just simply start feeling better about yourself!

But then you take 3-4 months off, what happens? You detrain and slowly slip out of shape again. You’ve lost your consistency and it cost you all the hard work that you put in for those previous 6 months.

Learning to swim is no different. The more consistent the better. Some families that enroll their children in lessons, give it a few months, then “pause” their classes for 5-6 months before returning.

There is no such thing as a “pause” when it comes to swimming. There will be regression that occurs and once that swimmer returns there are some skills that need to be revisited. In my opinion, that’s a waste of time and money for families.

Now that I’ve painted a bleak picture, here’s the great news. In swimming, once you achieve water competency, you’re good to go for the rest of your life!! It’s like a switch that’s flipped forever.

So, unlike the gym where you must constantly train multiple times a week to stay in tip top shape, with swimming once you learn it, it’s in you forever, like riding a bike.

However, learning to swim will take longer than learning how to ride a bike and that’s why we offer The Safer Swimmer Promise.

We promise if you give us 12 months, we will guarantee that your child will be water safe and ready to enjoy the water for the remainder of their lives. If your child is not safe after 12 months, the next 2 months of swimming lessons is on me, completely free to you and your family!!!

It’s time to put my money where my mouth is. We have the best curriculum, the best instructors, the best pricing and now the best promise in the area.

I’m proud to call the Toledo, OH area home, pleased that we raised our 2 children here and honored to serve this great community. Cheers to a consistent, fantastic year!
