One Year After the Storm: O’Fallon Homeowners Urged to Act Before Insurance Deadlines Pass

One year ago, a powerful hailstorm struck O’Fallon on March 14, 2025, leaving widespread roof and siding damage throughout the community. While many homes showed obvious signs of impact, others experienced less visible damage that homeowners may still be unaware of today.

As the anniversary of the storm approaches, Alexander Roofing & Exteriors LLC is reminding residents that insurance claim deadlines are nearing — and waiting too long could mean paying for repairs out of pocket.

Nathan Hubbard, a partner at the O’Fallon-based company, has become a trusted resource for homeowners navigating the storm recovery process. Known for his strong involvement in the community, Hubbard serves on local city boards and regularly supports school and community fundraising initiatives.

For Hubbard, helping neighbors repair their homes is personal.

“Our families live here too,” he says. “We want to make sure homeowners aren’t stuck with repair bills for damage that insurance should cover.”

Hubbard holds an active roofing license and is currently pursuing his public adjuster license to better assist homeowners through the insurance process. His combined construction knowledge and growing claims expertise allow homeowners to feel confident they are making informed decisions about inspections and repairs.

Alexander Roofing & Exteriors specializes in storm restoration and works closely with homeowners to inspect properties, document damage, and complete repairs once claims are approved.

Many homeowners may not realize that hail damage does not always cause immediate leaks but can weaken roofing materials over time, eventually leading to water intrusion and interior damage if left unaddressed.

With spring storms approaching once again, Hubbard encourages residents to have their homes inspected now rather than risk missing claim deadlines.

Homeowners who experienced the March 2025 storm are encouraged to schedule an inspection soon to ensure their homes remain protected for years to come.
