Party With a Purpose at West Plains Civic Center
This month, the Wiley Insurance Agency would like to donate our Expert Contributor article space to highlight an upcoming community event that benefits a project close to our heart.
Party With a Purpose is a two-day event at the West Plains Civic Center, April 10-11, with live music, food trucks, cook-offs, and many other fun spectacles and family activities. Proceeds will go towards the goal of $850,000 for Christos House Inc. In particular, the local Sanctuary Project, which will build 14 new tiny homes to comfortably house victims of domestic and sexual violence in our area.
Here’s some good news: We’ve already raised $500,000! Our amazing community has demonstrated generous commitment to this cause. Party With a Purpose, is an amazing opportunity for West Plains neighbors to support the final push for this project and bring continued awareness of this need.
Proceeds from this event include:
- Entry Fee – $10/per person
- Book Purchase – Preacher Roe: The Life of Professional Baseball Great from the Ozarks. (Price TBD)
- Direct contributions made at the event
For more information, please go the Christos House website: https://christoshousemo.org/.
On April 11th at this event, Jayden Wiley, with the help of Joey Green of Right Off the Bat Cards & Collectibles, is hosting a Preacher Roe exhibit that will be the largest ever organized. It will include a live book signing of the latest biography of Preacher Roe by author David Jerome.
