The Time-Saving Kiosk is a self-service solution that allows customers to process Amazon consolidated returns, UPS prepaid, pre-packed drop-offs, and pre-packaged mobile shipping and mobile returns. Let’s talk about a few and how it works!
Amazon Consolidated Returns:
Customers will scan their QR code, place the return item in the available poly bag, seal it with the Amazon license plate label and place the item in the kiosk fixture.
UPS Pre-Paid, Pre-Packaged and Sealed Drop-Offs:
Customers will scan their shipping label that is affixed to their pre-paid, pre-packaged and sealed drop-off, confirm they are not shipping any dangerous items (guns, ammunition, explosives, etc.), and be directed to drop off their package at the designated drop-off location at the front counter.
Pre-Packaged Mobile Shipping and Mobile Returns:
Customers will scan their QR code, confirm their item is properly packed and sealed, secure and affix the printed shipping label, and be directed to drop off their package at the designated drop-off location at the front counter.
The kiosk will also allow the customer to choose what receipt type they would prefer (printed, emailed, text, or none).
Here’s what’s NOT accepted at the kiosk: any Fed-Ex or United States Postal Service package.
The UPS Store in West Plains is committed to fast and friendly service, and this kiosk will help deliver that to our customers. If you are more of a face-to-face customer, then you’ll be excited to hear that we will be getting a third Point of Sale counter to help you even more efficiently. Please remember that we will always be available to assist you with the kiosk as we understand this will be a learning curve, even for us!
