In November 2024, I wrote about our February 2026 Australia Land Tour following our 15-day New Zealand Viking Cruise.
In Sydney, this tour included an exclusive private tour of the Sydney Opera House, a Perfect Day in Sydney tour, the Blue Mountains and the Sydney Zoo.
In Melbourne, it included the Great Ocean Road, a Phillips Island Tour to see the March of the Penguins, Yarra Valley wine tastings, and the Healesville Sanctuary.
The Sydney Opera House cannot be described with words; it is one of the most memorable architectural structures I have ever seen.
Our group was able to see up close the Australian “Big Five”: kangaroos (with a Joey in a Momma Kangaroo’s pouch), koalas, wombats, platypus, and echidnas. We also saw numerous other wildlife including Tasmanian Devils, emus, flying fox bats, and an uncountable number of unique birds. I will let these pictures speak for themselves.
