Bonhomme Lodge Lunch Assistance Program
“How to assist others in need” should always be on everyone’s mind. For Freemasons, it is a daily priority. Members of Bonhomme Lodge #45 AF&AM met with Carmen Fischer, Food Director for the Rockwood School District, on Thursday, March 5, 2026, to deliver a check for $12,000 to pay off negative student lunch balances across the district.
The Lunch Program, started at Bonhomme Lodge #45 for Missouri Masons nearly 10 years ago, remains an annual cause the lodge is proud to support and continue. Ensuring that children receive a nutritious lunch while at school should be important to everyone in the community, and each year Bonhomme Lodge #45 steps up to help.
Making sure children are not hungry is the first step in helping them learn the curriculum that the talented educators at Rockwood dedicate their lives to teaching. Bonhomme Lodge #45 and its members remain committed to assisting students whenever a need arises. Members consider the ability to help a blessing and always look forward to the opportunity.
