The Point Wellness Spa has become known as a place where people can slow down, reset, and take care of themselves in a meaningful way. Now, that sense of wellness is expanding with the addition of a new service. Dr. Ryley Perryman has opened Balance Chiropractic inside The Point, introducing a more personalized approach to chiropractic care in a setting that already feels calm, welcoming, and focused on overall wellbeing.
Dr. Perryman was originally studying Human Kinetics with plans to pursue physiotherapy, she quickly realized that the environment did not align with the kind of care she wanted to provide. After being introduced to a different approach through a mentor, she decided to explore chiropractic instead. Once she began her training, she knew she had found the right fit.
She completed her chiropractic education at Logan University in St. Louis, followed by clinical experience in Windsor and time practicing in Michigan. Although she had planned to continue gaining experience there, the opportunity to start her own practice within The Point felt like the right next step.
Balance Chiropractic operates within The Point as a one on one, patient focused practice. Each new patient appointment is a full hour, allowing time for conversation, assessment, and a clear understanding of both concerns and goals. Follow up visits are 20 minutes and remain fully one on one, giving patients consistent, focused care without feeling rushed.
Her approach looks beyond where pain shows up and focuses on why it is happening. Rather than relying solely on adjustments, care may include soft tissue work, movement assessment, and guided exercises to support long term improvement. The goal is not just short term relief, but helping patients move better and feel stronger in their everyday lives.
Being located inside The Point allows chiropractic care to naturally complement the other services already offered. With massage therapy, reflexology, and other wellness treatments available, patients have access to a more connected approach to their health. While the space feels calm and inviting, care is designed for everyone, and patients of all backgrounds are encouraged to feel comfortable coming in. Dr. Perryman also values collaboration outside of The Point, encouraging patients to build a trusted team of care providers who can support them from multiple angles.
While she welcomes patients of all ages and lifestyles, she has a special interest in supporting women and is Webster Certified, allowing her to work with patients during pregnancy and postpartum. She has also completed additional training in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, with a strong focus on improving movement and function. Looking ahead, she also plans to incorporate additional techniques such as acupuncture into her services as her practice continues to grow.
For those new to chiropractic care, Dr. Perryman emphasizes that the experience is designed to feel comfortable and informative. The first visit is centered around understanding the patient, not rushing into treatment. Care is always tailored to the individual, and there are multiple approaches available depending on comfort level and needs.
Her goal is simple. She wants patients to leave feeling better, but also confident in their ability to manage their health outside of the clinic. Rather than creating long term dependency, she focuses on giving people the tools they need to support themselves between visits.
Balance Chiropractic is now open inside The Point Wellness Spa and is accepting new patients. To book an appointment, call The Point Wellness Spa. Dr. Perryman accepts all insurance providers, making care accessible and convenient for those looking to prioritize their health.
