Firing Up Flavor: Welcome Back to Grilling Season

Back to Articles

As the days grow longer and temperatures begin to warm, many homeowners start thinking about taking meals back outside. Spring is the unofficial start of grilling season — and at Hearthside Grill & Fireplace, that means showcasing some of the most trusted and innovative grills in the industry.

This season, Hearthside is introducing the new Weber Genesis® E-430 Gas Grill Stealth® Edition. Designed with a bold, all-black finish — from the matte black lid to the trim, handles, knobs, and wheels — the Stealth Edition makes a striking statement in any backyard. Performance matches the design, featuring a dedicated Sear Burner that delivers up to 50 percent more power in an extra-large Sear Zone for pronounced sear marks on meat, fish, and vegetables. The grill also includes a Weber Crafted® Frame Kit, allowing cooks to expand their menu with compatible accessories such as a pizza stone, griddle, or wok (sold separately). A spacious grill locker provides convenient storage for tools and grillware between cookouts.

For those seeking kamado-style performance, Hearthside now carries Primo Grills, known for their distinctive oval design that creates dual cooking zones. Crafted with thick ceramic walls and precise airflow control, Primo grills excel at retaining heat and moisture while delivering flavor-rich results using natural lump charcoal. Kamado grills stand out for their versatility — allowing users to grill, smoke, bake, and roast in one unit — along with impressive fuel efficiency and long-term durability. Whether searing steaks, slow-smoking barbecue, or baking artisan pizzas, Primo offers high-end performance for outdoor kitchens.

Hearthside also continues to carry the trusted line of Traeger wood-fired pellet grills. Traeger invented the original wood-fired grill more than 30 years ago in Mt. Angel, Oregon, and remains a leading name in wood-fire grilling today. Known for consistent temperature control and authentic wood-fired flavor, Traeger grills offer versatility for grilling, smoking, baking, roasting, braising, and barbecuing.

To help kick off the season, Hearthside will host its annual GrillFest on Saturday, May 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can enjoy live grilling demonstrations, samples prepared on Weber gas, Traeger pellet, and Primo kamado grills, along with expert tips from the pros. Attendees are invited to bring a new, unused toy donation to support Fire Truck O’Toys and, in return, receive a FREE 20-pound propane grill tank REFILL. Visitors can also sample featured sauces, vote for their favorites, and browse special sale items in-store.

Spring grilling starts here — and Hearthside Grill & Fireplace invites the community to stop by, explore the options, and get ready for a flavorful season outdoors.
