Investing in Spaces That Bring People Together

Massachusetts has always been home for me, and today my wife, Katia, and I live in Westwood with our three sons, Anthony, Xander, and Marco. Like many families in this area, much of our life revolves around time together outdoors, whether it’s gathering with friends, hosting family dinners, or simply enjoying a quiet moment outside. Those everyday moments are actually what inspired the business I run today.

I founded Boston Pergolas with a simple vision: to help homeowners transform their outdoor spaces into places where life naturally happens. Over the years, that vision has grown into a design-driven company specializing in luxury pergolas and architectural outdoor structures. Our work focuses on creating elegant outdoor environments that extend the comfort and beauty of a home beyond its walls.

Many of our projects incorporate advanced louvered roof systems, integrated lighting, heating, and retractable screens, allowing homeowners to enjoy their patios and terraces comfortably through New England’s changing seasons. We approach every project as a collaboration with the homeowner, architect, and builder to ensure the final result feels timeless and integrated with the architecture of the home.

What truly distinguishes Boston Pergolas is our emphasis on thoughtful design and craftsmanship. Every structure is custom designed, engineered for New England conditions, and installed with careful attention to detail. Our goal is never simply to add a structure to a home, but to create an outdoor space that feels like a natural extension of the architecture and lifestyle of the family who lives there.

We have been fortunate to work with some truly amazing clients throughout Westwood. The town is known for its beautiful homes and landscapes, but even more for the people who care deeply about how they live and entertain in those spaces. It’s always a privilege for us to help bring those outdoor visions to life.

If there’s one piece of advice I would share with Westwood residents, it’s this: invest in spaces that bring people together. Outdoor living has become one of the most meaningful ways families connect – whether it’s a summer evening dinner, a gathering with friends, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of New England from your own backyard.

For me, the most rewarding part of this work is seeing the spaces we create become the setting for those moments.
