Growth is the hallmark of the season—everything turns up green, and wildflowers in every color of the rainbow decorate our roadways and yards. Baby deer take wobbling steps behind watchful does all over our town. It’s an annual explosion of new flora and fauna, a big part of what makes this community so special.
But this year, there’s even more growth occurring all around us.
Lake Travis and Dripping Springs, our next-door neighbors, are in the midst of significant growth, as well. And just as Lakeway touts “Well-managed growth is the hallmark of this upscale lakeside community” (www.lakeway-tx.gov/aboutlakeway). These two neighborhoods are thinking very deliberately about the way they grow, the amenities they will offer, and the homeowners they will attract.
Several new developments take a purposeful approach to environmentally sound development and living—notably Loraloma (Thomas Ranch), Lakeside at Tessera (Lago Vista), and the Canyon Club (Lake Travis).
