Align Spa: Blending a holistic approach to the bodywork and esthetics you know and love.

Back to Articles

In a world where our everyday lives are constantly moving fast, stress inevitably ends up settling deep into our bodies and our nervous systems. What if your spa treatment focused on letting go of that stress and the noise of the world just as much as skin rejuvenation or alleviating your muscle aches? At Align Spa, we do just that. Our mission is to combine a spiritual and holistic approach with the great esthetics and bodywork you know and love. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with good intentions and a safe space focused on healing. You’ll notice us charging crystals in our windows, Himalayan salt lamps, growing plants, and most importantly, our service providers who pour their passion for healing into each and every service.

At Align, we have a team of therapists who enjoy learning and focusing on holistic approaches to tend to our clients’ needs. A holistic approach tends to focus on one’s inner well-being as well as their physical well-being. It also takes into account the whole human system, not solely one part of the body. The idea is that a human is interconnected, meaning that all the physiological parts are constantly communicating and depending on each other. A holistic approach also intertwines the integration of diverse factors, which takes into account a person’s environment, their mental health, and their physical health. The focus is on the whole person and their symptoms, which will help treat the patient with the help of our therapist. At Align Spa, we make it our purpose to treat the client’s mind, body, and soul.

We asked some of our massage therapists and estheticians how they view their holistic approach at Align in their everyday work. Speaking with Nora (a massage therapist since 1992), we asked her how she defines her holistic approach to her massage sessions. She explained, “I have the intention to integrate the sense of a person’s self into them. I like to incorporate touch, like compression, to center the client.” Additionally, she explained how she uses acupressure on both sides of the trapezius muscles by applying pressure on the corresponding acupressure points to help her clients. Using the combination of the calming sensory experience she provides and the acupressure points is a fantastic example of syncing up our body’s nervous system with the muscular system to realign the body. (Lini saying after)

Thus, Align Spa is a fantastic pick to align your mind, body, and soul. We hope that if you are interested in a holistic approach to your bodywork or esthetics, you will consider Align Spa and be met by our wonderful staff and community.
