VBS Kick-Off Night is Sunday, May 31st @ 6pm in the upstairs worship center. Kick-Off is for all VBS families and is designed to give kids and parents a small taste of the upcoming VBS week – games, music, quick tour, and more!
VBS is June 1st through the 4th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for 4-year-olds through 5th grade. Please register your kiddos by the grade they completed in the recent school year. Register through the events page at www.fbcokids.com.

Wes Fleming leads the children’s ministry at First Baptist Opelika, where he finds his greatest joy in seeing kids baptized and come to faith in Jesus. He studied Family and Discipleship Ministries at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, and brings 15 years of experience serving children and families in churches across Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee before joining FBCO. Wes and his family have roots in Louisville, KY, and southern Indiana—affectionately known as “Kentuckiana.” The Flemings enjoy Atlanta Braves baseball, cooking and grilling, movies, trips to the beach, outdoor adventures, and playing board and card games together.
