Cache Valley is built on the quiet, steady dedication of people who show up every daynot for recognition, but because they genuinely love where they live and the people around them. At Prodigy Brewing, we created Community Craft, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to shine a light on those people and invest back into the community that has supported us from day one. Our mission is simple: honor the unsung heroes of Cache Valley, support local charities, and give back. Since our founding, Community Craft has donated nearly $20,000 into Cache Valley — and we are just getting started!

Each year, Community Craft recognizes individuals and organizations changing lives without ever seeking the spotlight. Our inaugural Unsung Hero Award went to LeeAnn Koval, a 4th-grade teacher at Hillcrest Elementary. Beyond her classroom dedication, LeeAnn has volunteered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace since 2020, helping build over 200 beds so no child in our community sleeps on the floor.

Janis Boettinger and Geno Schupp were recognized for their tireless, behind-the-scenes generosity throughout Cache Valley — from CAPSA to countless humanitarian causes — through donations, time, and enormous heart, never once seeking credit.

We gladly gave to Families Feeding Families during the challenging 2025 holiday season to help them continue to serve our community’s families that fall through the cracks of traditional assistance programs, providing rent and utility support, food pantries, and joyful community events for children through an army of dedicated volunteers.

This spring, we were able to honor Dr. Mike Wolfe, posthumously, and give back to the Bear River Land Conservancy, an organization he was deeply passionate about. In retirement Mike restored the Bear River Bottoms, mentored youth offenders through the Cache County Sheriff’s Juvenile Diversion program, and worked quietly with the Bear River Land Conservancy to preserve this valley’s land and water for future generations.

Our largest fundraiser, the Annual Community Craft Beer Fest, brought the community together on May 3rd, 2026 for its most exciting year yet and in downtown Logan for the very first time! Church Street and Federal Avenue came alive with craft beer, wine, cider, incredible food vendors, and live music. The downtown debut drew our largest turnout yet; a true reflection of how deeply Cache Valley has embraced our mission.

Cache Valley is full of extraordinary people doing extraordinary things — quietly and without ever asking for recognition. If someone in your life is making this valley a better place, we want to celebrate them. Please visit our website to nominate an unsung hero today – www.prodigy-brewing.com/community-craft/
