Every pet deserves the opportunity to live a comfortable, active and joyful life—no matter their age or physical challenges. Whether it’s a tripod pet learning to rebalance, a senior companion slowing down or a pet working toward a healthier lifestyle, our Physical Therapy Gym is designed to support them every step of the way.
Every Journey Looks Different
Pets recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions or navigating age-related changes often need extra support. Physical therapy helps build strength, improve mobility and increase confidence—making a meaningful difference in their quality of life.
For senior pets, targeted exercises can help maintain mobility and reduce discomfort, while pets on a weight loss journey benefit from safe, guided movement that supports long-term health.
Molly & Bailey’s Stories
This journey is deeply personal for our team. Molly, a 14-and-a-half-year-old staff member’s dog, began PT after an injury that could have significantly impacted her mobility and overall quality of life. Because of her strong foundation and a personalized plan, she’s making steady progress—walking better, staying engaged and still enjoying the activities she loves. While she is not going up and down stairs independently quite yet, it was amazing to see her happily rolling in the mud!
Bailey is on a recovery journey of their own, working through injury with a customized plan focused on rebuilding strength and confidence. Like many of our patients, Bailey’s progress is happening step by step—showing that with consistency and support, meaningful improvement is always possible.
Together, their stories are a reminder that investing in strength and mobility—early and throughout life—can truly change outcomes.
A Team Effort
Physical therapy is a partnership. Under the guidance of Dr. Wolfe and our PT team at Ark Animal Hospital, each pet receives an individualized plan tailored to their needs and goals. Our PT gym offers a range of services—including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, underwater treadmill therapy and laser therapy—to support strength, mobility and comfort.
In just the first few months of our PT program, Dr. Wolfe has already seen incredible progress in her patients—from improved strength to more balanced, symmetrical muscle development. “That’s what this journey is all about for us,” she shares. “Seeing our patients grow stronger, move more comfortably and truly improve their quality of life is the most rewarding part,” she shares. She even laughs that one pet parent recently told her, “You’ve made my dog too strong!”—a funny piece of feedback we’re more than happy to hear!
Continued care at home helps reinforce progress, keeping pets moving forward every step of the way.
Supporting Every Step Forward
No matter where your pet is starting, our PT Gym is here to support them—because every step forward matters.
