AdventHealth Palm Harbor Emergency Room is a department of AdventHealth North Pinellas. Since 2016, our team has provided emergency care for Palm Harbor and nearby communities.

“What inspires me most about my work is the opportunity to be there for people during moments when they are often scared or uncertain. In the Emergency Department, families come to us during some of the most stressful moments of their lives. Being able to provide reassurance, answers, and healing is truly a privilege. At the end of the day, it is incredibly rewarding to work alongside a team of dedicated nurses, physicians, and staff who all share the same mission of helping our community when they need it most. Palm Harbor has always been home for me as I grew up here. My wife and I live locally and are raising two young boys who keep life busy and fun. Living and working in the same community has been incredibly meaningful for our family.”

“My greatest inspiration is being able to help patients in their immediate time of need. When someone comes to the Emergency Department with a question, a troubling symptom, or the fear that something serious may be happening, there is no greater sense of service than being the person they turn to for answers. Being able to bring the power of science and modern healthcare to those moments, and to make a meaningful difference when it matters most, is what continues to drive my career in Emergency Medicine. My wife, Shelly, and I moved to Palm Harbor from the small town of Ada, Oklahoma. We just celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary in April and we have fallen in love with Palm Harbor and the surrounding area. Getting to know and care for our neighbors is what makes living and working in Palm Harbor special. It’s a community that cares for each other, and I’m very proud to be a part of that.”
