In these situations, we will often consult with our local orthodontist, Dr McDowell, to move teeth for us first so that we can achieve the most conservative (removing less tooth structure – the less the better) and best outcomes for our patients.

In the case above, the patient started with a severe deep bite and teeth at very different heights. By having Dr. McDowell move the teeth first; we were able to give this patient teeth that are symmetrical and equal lengths and heights because the teeth and bone are in their proper position.  This is just one example of how we work with specialists to seek the best outcomes for our patients.
