July is a time for beating the heat, whether with gatherings by the pool, time spent out on the boat, or ice-cold desserts. 

This recipe comes from Jamie Kohrmann, owner of Covered in Chocolate Weddings, Catering & Bakery in Breese—a seasoned caterer and restaurateur who knows exactly what it takes to serve something truly unforgettable, the kind of dish guests will be asking you to make for every party. Sweet, cool, and delightful, this lemon chiffon dip is a perfect recipe for Fourth of July gatherings and summer get-togethers. 

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 10 oz lemon curd
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)

Directions

With a mixer, blend the top 3 ingredients. Once well blended, fold in the whipped topping and serve cold.

Enjoy with dippers such as wafer cookies, Golden Oreo® cookies, fresh fruit, or Jamie’s personal favorite, Teddy Grahams.
