Summertime is a GREAT time at the Dairy Queen! Of course, I like to think that anytime at the Dairy Queen is a great time, but…. Summer really brings out families, couples, ball teams, and teens all enjoying the warm weather and our DQ treats.
What a pleasure to serve our community and provide you tasty burgers, chicken strips, fries, Vienna Beef Hot Dogs and our Illinois State Fair award winning delicious ice cream treats! So, how can we help you celebrate this summer?
Block Parties
If you have a block party, we want to help you celebrate! Just bring a copy of your block party permit and we will provide your block 25 wooden tokens to pass out to the kids who attend. The token is good for a Star Bar, Dilly Bar, kid cone, or Ice Cream Sandwich.
Gift Cards
Purchase 20 dollars’ worth of gift cards and receive a five dollar gift card free (the whole month of July). You see merchants run this in the winter around Christmas all the time…we are just flipping the script and helping you celebrate in the summer. Think – Christmas in July!
Postal Workers
I don’t know about you, but my Postal worker is tireless. At my home and at the Dairy Queen these folks are reliable, cheerful, and diligent. We want to celebrate them and serve them, so Tuesday July 14th is Postal worker day at the DQ on Devon and Canfield. Postal workers can come in on that day and lunch is on us. We will treat all postal workers to a free Hamburger and fries. They do a great job and that is our way of saying thanks!!
All You Can Eat Ice Cream Cone Day!!
America is 250 years old and on Tuesday, August 4th it will be “all the vanilla ice cream cones you can eat” for $2.50!! Think about it, all day long you can eat ice cream and pay tribute to our great nation for the low, low, price of $2.50. Celebrate America and celebrate you! (Side note: We won’t be able to package cones “to go” you will have to pick them up on site, one at a time).
